Jurgen Klopp pictured as Liverpool arrive for Dubai training camp
The 33 players that will travel to Dubai on Monday were confirmed by the club, and now the first pictures of Liverpool's warm-weather training camp have surfaced.
The Reds will stay in Dubai for 12 nights
They will play Lyon this coming Sunday in the first of their two friendly games for the Dubai Super Cup; the other matchup is against AC Milan on Friday, December 16.
Seven Liverpool players who have played for their country at the World Cup are still absent from the team, but they have finally arrived; Jurgen Klopp was spotted being welcomed by officials in Dubai.
The manager and the players who aren't in Qatar took advantage of the three weeks since Liverpool's previous game, a 3-1 victory over Southampton on November 12 to have a vacation before this camp.
GMT is four hours ahead of local time in Dubai. Tuesday should be the team's first day of practise, although it most likely will be filled with testing and physical conditioning drills.
When discussing the advantages of the camp before Liverpool's season was cut short, Klopp referred to this trip as a second "pre-season." Training is likely to pick up later in the week as we approach Sunday's friendly against Lyon.
